Ground and Air Source Heat Pump Systems

Ground Source and Air Source Heat Pumps allow the consumer to take advantage of renewable and sustainable energy. Ground Source eat pumps make use of the energy from the sun which is absorbed by the earth. This energy that is stored below the surface of the earth is available to be extracted by the heat pump.

Heat pumps use the constant energy available in the ground with a refrigerant ciruit to allow the temperatures to be boosted to a useful level for the provision of heating or hot water for the home.

A heat pump works in the same way as a refrigerator, only in reverse. Solar heat is stored in the ground, water and air and is available throughout the year. A heat pump transfers ths heat from one medium to another.

Heat pumps are intended to be the sole source of heating and hot water production for the home giving the home owner the option of removing the existing heat source from the property and in most cases, making the heat pump the only source.

Residential Heat Pumps are a particularly efficient way to heat your home and provide hot water in a cost effective and sustainable way.

Huge reductions in Carbon can be achieved by installing Heat Pumps in lieu of more traditional systems and significant cost savings can be achieved by the reduction in fuel consumption. Solar heat occurs naturally, therefore it has no cost of carbon impact. A heat pump merely transfers ths free energy by a simple mechanical means, using some electrical energy.

A Residential Heat Pump system is the best available option if you want to install a sustainable renewable energy heating system and / or reduce your heating bill.

Please call for further information on our full range of ground source heat pump systems or for advice in chosing the correct size system you require for the size of your property - our telephone lines are open from 8am - 10pm seven days a week.
